I actually had a conversation about doing such a thing last weekend, and I posed the question to a few friends a couple of months ago.
A little unknown history about me: I did some small work for a local radio station back in college. I have been told on more than one occasion that my voice would be perfect for radio, but being the capitalist that I was, I decided not to go into that particularly segment of the entertainment industry, considering people in radio make little to no money for all the work they actually do.
In the age of podcasts, however, it would be possible to monetize such an endeavor. And since I am no longer worried about doing things just to make money, I am pretty sure I’d do it for free and still have a blast doing it.
